About me:

I am Michael Pry and the author of this blog.  Thank you for having an interest in participating in my rantings. 😜  The theme of this blog will include a variety of topics to include my ideas on photography and experiences in trying to learn it.  I hope that the ideas that I share with you are found to be either useful or amusing. 

Here are a few things about me.   I am a college student at Colorado Technical University pursing a doctorate in computer science with a concentration in cybersecurity.   I am also a wanna be photographer.  I am looking forward to the adventure and discoveries this will offer.  I am also a father of four children and much of my life is spent with them and their many activities.   I look forward to reading your comments as I begin my entry into the blogs-o-sphere. 

About my class:

The class that I am currently enrolled in CS875 Futuring and Innovation.  The course is part of the core courses in the doctorate of computer science / cybersecurity program.  The main theme of the class is to engage us (the learners) in thinking about the future and preparing to develop chapter 5 of our dissertation.  Through this course I am hoping to learn about how to think like an innovator and to understand what ideas, strategies and methods contribute to successful innovations and to gain ideas on ways to properly frame my chapter 5 discourse.   I think this class is going to be a lot of fun. 

About this Blog:

This blog will consist of ideas and subjects related to my coursework, random thoughts and ideas that I want to share and a history of my experiences as I begin my journey as a photographer.  Some posts will be text only and others will highlight pictures that I have taken.  I expect this blog will evolve around these themes but we shall see where the journey takes us.
